This course focuses on basic principles of food
preparation & nutrition. Students will practice correct use of kitchen equipment & cooking techniques through cooking lab experiences. Labs will include a variety of topics from healthy snacks & meals, to foreign foods & baking. Emphasis will be placed on safety & sanitation procedures in the kitchen. |
